GAVERS is a UK-based e-commerce gifting business providing employee recognition and personal gifting solutions. Our supply chain includes product manufacturers, packaging suppliers, fulfilment partners, and logistics providers, both within the UK and internationally.
2. Policy Position
GAVERS maintains a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking in any form within our operations or supply chain.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships.
3. Due Diligence Processes
We undertake proportionate due diligence measures, including, Supplier onboarding checks where appropriate to assess ethical compliance, Preference for suppliers with demonstrable labour standards and regulatory compliance, Engagement with suppliers on the transparency of labour practices, Monitoring of supplier performance on an ongoing basis, where relevant
4. Risk Assessment
We recognise that certain categories of goods, particularly manufactured goods and overseas production, may present higher inherent risk. We seek to mitigate these risks through supplier selection and review processes proportionate to business scale.
5. Training and Awareness
We aim to ensure relevant staff are aware of the risks of modern slavery and understand escalation procedures should concerns arise.
6. Reporting Concerns
We encourage the reporting of any suspected unethical practices. Concerns are escalated internally and investigated appropriately.
